Curious about
the whole system.
I’m Rohin. I build AI systems that do useful work—and devices that turn software into something you can feel.
01 / What draws me in
Software meets the world.
I’m equally drawn to the infrastructure behind an AI agent and the hardware underneath an intelligent device. Backend systems, evaluation, efficient inference, perception, and controls are different ways into the same question: how do we make a system useful and dependable?
02 / Where I’m headed
Build beyond the demo.
I want to work on AI that holds up outside a notebook: tools people can trust, models that fit real compute constraints, and robots that respond to a changing world. I like getting close to the details, measuring what happens, and understanding why.
03 / What I’ve been building
Across scales.
At Qualcomm, I worked on agentic workflows and hardware investigation. At Jirav, I connected natural-language questions to financial data and calculations. At NASA Ames, I studied gene expression and reproducible discovery. Robotics taught me to think across code, mechanics, and electronics.

A little more groove.
I play bass and guitar. Vulfpeck is my favorite band, and Joe Dart’s bass lines give me plenty to work on. I also surf, hike, lift, build things out of wood, and watch basketball.
Why there are mountains everywhere →Follow a connection.
AI systems
From a question to useful work.
Physical systems
From perception to action.
Research & sound
From a signal to an explanation.
Always up for a good problem.
Especially one that needs both a software engineer’s precision and a builder’s willingness to try things.
